Show Statement
I was very impressed with the diversity and courage shown by all the applications. My selections were based on showcasing the vast variety and expertise of ceramic art currently being made in the state. My judgment was to show a sense of artistic adventure along with a creative proficiency in technical skills. The criteria I used for selection fell into two categories: 1. a demonstrated proficiency in material and 2. a spirit of exploration and play.
